Colin Silverman
Colin began his massage studies in 1996 in Northern California. After completing his intial hours in Swedish Massage and Sports Massage, he moved to Santa Barbara to continue his studies at the Body Therapy Institute. There he studied Neuromuscular Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Myofascial Release. While beginning his massage practice in Santa Barbara, he also enrolled in the Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine. After almost 2 years engrossed in the study of Chinese Medicine, his massage practice became so successful that he chose to focus all his energy on massage, taking with him the understand of Chinese Medicine and the skills of Shiatsu. Colin has spent the last 15 years working full time as a massage therapist, refining and perfecting his craft and deepening his understanding of structural bodywork. He has worked hard to develop a unique and highly specific form of bodywork aimed at pain relief and optimal performance. His comprehensive approach includes postural evaluation, hands on treatment and exercises specifically designed to speed the healing process.
Jordan Terry
Jordan Terry is a Certified Massage Therapist in Santa Barbara, CA. Raised with an understanding of healing touch, Jordan received his formal training at Santa Barbara Body Therapy Institute. With a bachelor's degree in architecture, he has a deep understanding of structure and flow. His massage studies began in Western Massage practices of Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Trigger Point Therapy. He's also pursued training in Eastern styles of massage such as Acupressure, Shiatsu, and Tui Na . A continual student, Jordan utilizes every opportunity to study anatomy, structure, myofascia, and any healing techniques that cross his path. Since joining the Deep Tissue Massage Center, Jordan has combined his diverse knowledge, intuition, and skill to create a unique and powerful blend of orthopedic massage.
